We have put a lot of thought into creating an exceptional experience for our clients. Here are a few things we think make us different: 


A fiduciary obligation to put our clients first.

As an independent Registered Investment Advisor, we are fiduciaries, and as such, we have a legal obligation to put our client first and act at all times in the best interests of each client. We are not affiliated with a bank, brokerage firm, independent broker-dealer, or any other financial institution. (See "Our Fiduciary Standard.")

Fee-only advice. 

We want to do everything we can to avoid conflicts of interest, so we don't sell investment products, earn commissions, have quotas, or receive kickbacks like many advisors. As fee-only advisors, we prosper only as our clients prosper. 

Holistic financial planning. 

While many advisors may refer to themselves as "financial planners" or "wealth managers," very few actually take a holistic, comprehensive planning approach and address a full range of clients'  financial needs beyond investment management. Palmetto Coast's holistic wealth management process is highly consultative in nature and addresses all areas of our clients' financial issues, including tax mitigation, retirement income planning, estate planning, and risk management. 

Smart investing. 

We do not believe in spending time and client money trying to beat the market (an almost insurmountable challenge as studies, such as those done by SPIVA, consistently suggest). We don’t follow fads or relegate our clients’ futures to guesswork and speculation. Instead, our investment philosophy is grounded in Nobel Prize-winning research, which includes almost nine decades of data, analysis, insights from behavioral finance, and a close relationship with leading academics. As a client, you'll have access to investments not typically available to individuals except through a group of select independent financial advisors. 

A highly consultative process.

Some advisors work with hundreds of clients, which means they may not have the time to give you the attention you may need. We work with a limited number of select clients so we can provide you with the level of service and attention you deserve.
